From NoDak to Richmond!

Well I made it back!!! I did enjoy my time in Minot and would go back (in the summer). I'm off to Richmond and hope to see you guys there. Look for the shirt and the crew!!!

Paradise

This must be just like living in paradise and I don't want to go home. That's a little sarcasm! WTF Northwest Airlines!!!! NWA has been canceling flights all week and I'm a little worried I won't get out of here. I guess if I have to stay I'll be hanging out at NODAK Speedway. NODAK has a 1/8th mile drag strip and are racing all weekend. Hopefully I'll get out though and make it to the IRL race in Richmond. Oh, if you ever come to North Dakota in the summer you still need a jacket (yesterday we had a high of 63). Tomorrow I should be flying all day so I won't be updating. Saturday is the IRL Race, but I'll try to update before I go. Sunday I'll be posting pics of the race. See ya!!

TEXACO!!42

Sorry, I haven't updated! I've been busy working. There isn't much to say, because I'm out of the loop (What I mean is I'm in North Dakota). I did go to the Races Sunday night at the NODAK Speedway and it rocked. The last race was so close I had to wait after it ended to find out who won. I almost wish all races were in the dirt. How about that TEXACO car Sunday in Calli? I called it damn it!!!! I don't care if all my other picks were crap.

Quick Update

I’m about to head out the door to go watch some dirt racing!! I promised an update so here we go.

Female Racing News/Results:
Champ Car World Series- Katherine Legge finished 15th out of 16 cars.
Craftsman Truck Series- Kelly Sutton finished 20th 3 laps down.
IRL- Sarah Fisher impressed today with a 7th place finish. Danica Patrick finished 13th, she was involved in an accident that wasn’t her fault. Milka Duno finished 18th.

This is going to be a rough week so please be patient.

North Dakota Speedway

I'm in Minot!! It reminds me of a 3rd World Country. My cell phone doesn't work and I have yet to see a proper building. Things are starting to look up though, I found a track!! http://www.nodakraceclub.com/ The North Dakota Speedway is a Dirt track and they have a race tomorrow night. The race starts at 6pm and I'll be there, so look for the BellaSRacing shirt if you're in the area. I've been working all day so I have no female racing news, but I promise to update tomorrow.

Why not Minot?

I won't be posting tomorrow because I'll be on a plane. I'm heading to North Dakota for the week. I'll try to post Saturday if i can, but I'm not sure if my hotel is going to have Internet.

Lets see this weekend NASCAR is at Infinion, IRL is at IOWA, Champ Car is in Clevland and F1 has the week off. Check out http://www.indycar.com/ they are having people vote on Danica's new look (The 'Kanaan').

Never Fear

It amazes me how little information there is out there about female drivers. I was just at Lyn St. James web site www.lynstjames.com and clicked on the woman in racing link and to my surprise there where a lot of links. I started to check out the links on that page and realized most of these sites haven’t been updated in at least a year. I guess the question is where are all the great female drivers at? Did they all just run away and hide? I know there is a ton of talent out there. Well never fear people because The Izzy will be on the scene soon enough.

Rubber & Fuel

I love the smell of rubber and fuel. I went to Capital Raceway Saturday and had a blast. Anyone that drag races motorcycles is completely insane though (just had to say that). I’ve been thinking that maybe Junior Dragster would be kind of cool (only if I have to move and there is no track). Hamilton won his second race in F1 and a star is born. I can’t believe that idiot in charge of F1 said, they don’t need the USA. I think they should expand their races to include a place like Laguna Seca or Infineon to get a west coast crowed.

Female Racing News:

-The IRL had the weekend off, so that takes out about half the female drivers I know.
- Erin Crocker finished 3rd this weekend at the Michigan ARCA Race.

Sorry, there wasn’t that much to report. I guess next week I’ll have to start adding NHRA.

Capital Raceway

Well I’m about to head up to Maryland for my brothers wedding, so this will probably be my last update for the weekend. If I get the chance I’m going to head up to Capital Raceway www.capitolraceway.com/ (It’s a NHRA sanctioned ¼ mile). If you’re at the track this weekend look for a BellaSRacing T-shirt. I would like to check out the Jr. Dragsters, just in case I ever move to a place with out a proper track.

This should be a good weekend for Racing!

This weekend we have 24 hours at Le Mans, F1 in Indy and NASCAR at Michigan. I’m predicting another victory for Hamilton and after Indy the McLaren team is going to tell Hamilton to let Alonso win. The Izzinator is still on track and hope to have her in something motorized in the next 10 months. So is Kyle Busch a primadona? To hear some people talk about him he is a pain in the arse, but those are just fans. I wonder how much truth there is to it though. I suspect Kyle is going to end up racing for Ginn Racing. NASCAR is starting to turn into a bad episode of “As The World Turns”, but it sure is a lot of fun. This weekend my brother is getting married, so I don’t know if I will be able to post again until Monday. Keep checking in though.

Sorry, I forgot to post a pic last night. I did set up a MySpace account for BellaSRacing last night. Hopefully Myspace will help generate some more interest, so check it out and become a friend.

So I assume that everyone knows that Little E in going to Hendricks!!LOL!! I’m a huge Hendricks fan, but they are starting to parallel the Yanks. I guess now the question is where Kyle Busch will end up.

The Rock

Not much to talk about today. Izzy is doing fine. Actually she has been cranky lately (Maybe she is a Gordon hater). I was reading Jayski and they are reporting that the IRL is thinking about having a race at Rockingham. I think I’ll post some more Pics later today. Oh I almost forgot to give a shout out to my oldest daughter Sierra (Izzy’s Big Sis) on receiving a Presidential Academic Achievement Award. I guess Sierra is going to be the brains of this operation.

What a weekend

Wow what a weekend of Racing!! Danica finished 3rd in Texas and Hamilton won his first race in F1. If you have been reading this blog then you know I said, “Hamilton would win in Montreal”. Did you see that horrific crash in the F1 race? My first thought was that Kubica was dead. My wife said, “She was thinking about that all day and now isn’t sure she wants Izzy to be a driver”. Happy to report that Kubica only suffered a few scratches/bruises and Izzy is still on track to be a driver. Please tell me what you think of the shirt!

-Kelly Sutton crashed on the second lap of the Sam's Town 400 finishing 33.
-Chrissy Wallace wins a Late Model Race at the Hickory Motor Speedway. First time a woman has ever won a major race there.
-Danica, Sarah and Milko all Race tonight in the Bombardier Learjet 550k at Texas Motor Speedway.

I think I'm going to add this as a weekly column. It's really hard to find info on female drivers. So I figured I would consolidate the weeks events here. The media only seems to care about Danica but there are a tons of other female drivers out there. Don't get me wrong, the Danica hype is great, it got my daughters interested racing, but there are more female racers out there then just Danica.

IZZY Info:
On to the IZ-myster news. Well she slept through the night last night, lets hope the trend continues. Coincidence or not, but she was fussy earlier today and I put on Formula 1 practice and she got quiet and started to coo.. If you guys didn't know F1 is in Montreal this weekend and Fox will be brodcasting it on Sunday at 1pm. I'm predicting Hamilton will win his first race.

Shirt Update

Well, my shirt just shipped and I should have a picture of it up on the site Saturday. I already have a few people interested in the shirts. Eat, Drink, Race and Nap

Well I ordered a prototype of the BellaSRacing T-Shirt, should have it soon. I added a few pics today so enjoy. I have had a few people ask why I'm doing this so early. It's simple the easiest way into racing is to promote ones self. Racing is all about promoting!

Last night it became clear to me that Izzy is destine to become a driver. When she is really mad there are only two things that make her happy going outside and getting in a car. Oh and I mean car we have a Van but she hates it. So what do being outside and cars have in common RACING!!!! I know I'm stretching it. I've had my brother working on a logo and hopefully soon we will have shirts and hats for sale. I think I'm going to have some shirts made up before the Richmond IRL race. In the begining

Isabella is now 7 weeks old. She is smiling, making eye contact and reeking general havoc. I decided to start this site to chronicle her life.

People complain in the reviews about it being to small but it’s only for a year. When she turns 2 I’ll get her a power wheel corvette or something like that. When she’s 4 I’ll get a 50cc Go Kart http://www.tsracing.com/store/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Product_ID=1533&CATID=24 I’m going to start looking at swap meets for one.
